“Google cleverly installs in users profile directory, avoiding an UAC prompt and circumventing admin privileges.” I have wondered about this myself. Is it right to circumnavigate admin rights like this, especially for something as important as a browser? The privilege model is there for a reason, is it not?

OK, so Weave is still in Beta, but this is *exactly* what I have needed for a long time, and I suspect I am not the only one.

I agree with you that everyone should have installed Firefox even if he/she uses IE – just in case…
